Women Entrepreneur in Listening to your Customers

March 11, 2020

In recognition of International Women's Day I wanted to share an article that I read in the latest issue of Entrepreneur Magazine https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/346309.  Michelle Kennedy, founder and entrepreneur of Peanut, a networking app that was created for moms shows us again that by listening to her customers we can be successful.  She was able to find a larger audience and a greater mission by just listening to her customers.

Your customer's opinions matter. It is critical for small businesses to listen to their customers because your business is not a business without them. Here are 4 ways you can start listening to your customers so you can find better success in your business!

1. Before meeting with a customer for a demo or overview of your company make sure you have a  Discovery Call.  Listen to what pains your customer or prospect is having and incorporate how you will solve their problems.

2. Send customer a personalized thank you note after your meeting with them outlining your discussion and next steps.  Get creative!

3.  After winning them as a customer offer them a discount off their next purchase or service if they answer an online questionnaire about your business.

4.  Stay connected with your customers through marketing outreaches. They love to give their feedback.

If you need some additional guidance on any of these techniques MCA Consultants is here to help!
