Phased Reopening of Vacation Spots from the Pandemic

May 27, 2020

As we celebrated the unofficial beginning of summer this past weekend, many of us wonder if we can even have our Summer Vacations due to the pandemic?  Vacations are still on according to Natasha Taylor, Travel Specialist with Mad Hatter Adventures.

Natasha's always had a love of traveling. Her and her family traveled a lot while growing up.  She started with planning friend's trips for them just for fun and never knew that it would end up being a business for her.  Natasha has been working several years for a family of physicians as a full-time Nanny.  She loves working with her girls. One day, Natasha saw a post about becoming a Travel Agent from owner of Mad Hatter Adventures, Mary R. Grace.  Her new career started 2 years ago and she hasn't looked back.  Natasha is one of 215 agents. All agents are graduates of College of Disney Knowledge.  Natasha can book your vacation to anywhere you like but she is known to be specialized in Disney Destinations and Family Travel.  She is always taking additional classes to stay on top of the travel industry on the hottest vacation spots. She told me that her business is all about creating relationships with vendors and having the opportunity to visit them and create that bond with them, therefore she can feel comfortable sending her clients to them.  Natasha has worked with 189 families for 2020 Vacations and already has 9 bookings for 2021.

The Pandemic did put her travel business in a holding pattern since Mid-March.  The good news is that between June 1st - July 1st all inclusive resorts will be opened up for business and prices are at an all time low.  Places like Mexico, Dominican Republic (Punta Cana), Antigua, Aruba, Bahamas, Cancun, Costa Rica, Jamaica, St. Lucia, St. Martin and St. Thomas will all be opened. Cruises will start to begin running again in August.  Disney has begun a gradual reopening.  On June 5th, Universal Studios, Universal Island of Adventure and Volcano Bay will be opening for guests.  The CDC has put many guidelines in place to ensure safety for airline travel as well as hotel stays.  Trip Insurance is always the safe way to go because it includes cash refunds for up to 2 hours before your flight.  You can find the latest information on deals and openings on her Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/natashamadhatteradventures.

You can still make those vacation plans and feel comfortable about it and if you are one that still doesn't want to travel now and would rather wait for a Fall/Winter Getaway then take advantage of those unbelievable prices and book now and take advantage of the Trip Insurance for peace of mind.

Continue to stay strong, and stay safe!  There is a light at the end of the tunnel.  The Philly area should be moving into the Yellow Phase really soon!  Would love to hear how your business is working through the pandemic. Contact me, would love to hear from you!
